TEMPE, Ariz. — It's not just pitchers and catchers anymore.
The Angels held their first full-squad workout of spring training on Monday.
New third baseman Anthony Rendon and reigning AL MVP Mike Trout spent time in the batting cage, and discussing the Astros' sign-stealing scandal, owner Arte Moreno discussed several things but chose not to elaborate on others and some fans saw their patience rewarded with autographs from some of their favorite players.
The Angels still have several days to shake off the rust before they open Cactus League play with a pair of split-squad games against the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals on Saturday.
