HOLYOKE - For about 100 guests at the Wistariahurst museum Friday night, Benjamin Franklin spoke the truth when he said, "the discovery of wine is of greater moment than the discovery of a constellation. The universe is too full of stars."
The museum hosted its popular "I Love Wine" program featuring dozens of wines for tasting at 10 tables. From a Nobilo Icon Sauvignon Blanc to a Delas Freres Cotes du Rhone, guests sampled a variety of wines.
Vendors included Horizon Beverage - Patriot Division, M.S. Walker, Hub (Latitude) Wine Co., Commonwealth Wines, Monsieur Touton Selection, Ruby Wines, United Liquors- Connoisseur Division, Carolina Wines , Classic Wines and Horizon Beverage.
