Although the property sold for less than its original $41.5 million asking price, it is still one of the most expensive sales in the affluent community, according to the report. For example, Warriors star Steph Curry bought his home in Atherton for $31 million last June.

The 21,030 square-foot property has seven bedrooms and 13 baths. It features luxurious amenities such as a movie theater, rolling grounds, a pool and cabana, and much more. Allen purchased the newly-built property in 2013 for $27 million, according to public records. Courtney Charney with Parc Agency Corporation was the most recent listing agent.

Allen died in 2018, leaving behind an estate worth $28 billion, which included holdings in professional sports teams, a space venture, ten luxury homes around the world, and much more, according to an article in Fortune.
