STATE COLLEGE -- Thon weekend is ongoing at Penn State, which means the annual Explorers program at the Nittany Lions' football headquarters took place, as well.
Members of the team welcomed a number of Four Diamond families into the Lasch Building for tours, games, and more. The event, which takes place annually on Day 2 of the university's 46-hour dance marathon that raises money for the fight against pediatric cancer, sees players tour patients and their families around the building while stopping to play games and see where the magic happens to prepare for game day at Beaver Stadium or somewhere else across the Big Ten.
See photos from the event above, and be sure to check back to PennLive this weekend and follow @psufootball on Twitter to see the team's freshmen compete in the annual Thon pep rally at the Bryce Jordan Center.
