Are banks open on Presidents Day 2020?

Most banks will not be open on the federal holiday.

Here is a list of banks that are scheduled to be closed on Presidents Day:

  • Bank of America
  • Capital One Bank
  • Chase
  • Citibank
  • PNC Bank
  • Santander Bank
  • Wells Fargo
  • There is just one major bank scheduled to be open on Presidents Day:

  • TD Bank
  • Presidents Day is one of several holidays whose date changes each year in accordance with the Uniform Monday Holiday Act.

    Others include Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Columbus Day, Labor Day and Veterans Day. The purpose of the act is to increase the number of three-day weekends for federal employees.
